A child ID is not being created for a list item. The workflow for creating the child ID has failed and is in status Failed on start

(re-trying). Please let me know what needs to be done.

I guess you are triggering the same workflow again, try using a different workflow to create Child ID.

If problem is not solved, kindly provide workflow details.
