Sharepoint server 2007 Implement SSl Error
Hi ,
i am trying SSl implement Sharepoint server 2007 server existing web application after create certifiacre . IIS 6.0 .i got below error
The page must be viewed over a secure channel
The page you are trying to access is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Please try the following:
Type https:// at the beginning of the address you are attempting to reach and press ENTER.
HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden: SSL is required to view this resource.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words
HTTP and 403. Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled
About Security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and
About Custom Error Messages.

SSL is configured for the web application in IIS. If you are getting the above error, I have to ask - did you type
https://yoursite (the https part is important here)? Give that a try and let us know how it goes. If the web application only supports SSL then you won't be able to access it with http - this is one of the purposes for what extended
web applications are for - in your case this could be setup to access your SharePoint site via different protocols (i.e. http and https).
