Server: sharepoint foundation

Description: we are facing the issue on search function not working in sharepoint foundation server.

last one month back my search functionality was working fine, but now it is not working we got the below error.

"Your search cannot be completed because this site is not assigned to an indexer. Contact your administrator for more information"

In central admin i have checked like "managed services" but there is no serch service.

I am trying to create "new service application"?but while click on new its only display BCS no other services are displayed.

Please let me know any other details require.

This is great, but what if when I click on "New" in Service Applications, I don't have Search Service Application.  Where does that come from?
i am using sharepoint foundation 2010
but last month back search function is working fine in my sharepoint site, but suddenly it has stooped and even timer services are also stopped.

we have any alternatives for getting back search services.Pleas advise me this is urgent.
