Sharepoint office live
I was using office live to share calendars between collogues around the country. The calendars stopped working recently I logged onto office live to find there was no support for the calendars and they had all been converted to excel docs. I have now used the SHARE CALENDARS in outlook. But now when I try copy appointments from my calendar onto the shared calendar it brings up a comparability issue. It adds the appointment then when it updates it removes it off the shared calendar. Is this issue a sharepoint 2010 exchange 2003 issue or something else???

My guess is it's probably something to do with the interaction between SP2010 and Exchange 2003. The best integration and interaction exists in equivelent versions i.e. SP2010 and Exchange 2010. I trust that answers your question... Thanks C http://www.cjvandyk.com/blog

Thanx Cornelius I am now having the same problem with Office 2007. Can this be attributed to the same problem? and if so is the only solution then to go to office 2010?

It's more than likely you will. With Outlook 2007, you can view a SharePoint calendar as a shared calendar but it will have read only access, thus you can't feed back changes back to it. With the 2010 iterations, you would have full synergy.http://www.final-exodus.net
