Sharepoint link issue in Office 2010
Regarding Sharepoint link issue in Office 2010..
I have a Word 2003 document which has a sharepoint link available within it .
Case 1:
In a machine having office 2003,
On clicking the sharepoint link, the target document (a file with .doc extension) opens perfectly.
Case 2:
In a machine having office 2010,
On clicking the sharepoint link, the document directs to a blank word document. I observe that this blank document tries to display the content of the .aspx file (shortcut for the target document).
(Note: The word cannot display the content of the .aspx page. So it just displays a blank document)
The flow is shown below
On Click-------------------à .aspx -------------à .doc.
This doesn’t happen and it stops in the second step jus after finishing the opening of the .aspx file as mentioned above .
Assistance appreciated…!!
