Sharepoint left navigation panel giving problems after migration to new location
Hi, I am using MOSS 2007. Our sharepoint site has been migrated recently to a new location. After the migration one site is behaving strangely. I have one site and there are around 20 pages in that site. I have checked the Show subsite and Show page option. When i click on the site name the page names should be displayed below the site name. But it doesnot happen so. But if i modify some site settings (or make some modification from SPD) then save and refresh the page then only the pages appear below the site name. I have used IE8 and mozzilla for this. Please guide me in getting a solution. Thanks in advance, Sanjib

Hi Sanjib, In the main question you have asked that there is a problem in left navigation pane and then in body you have asked you are not getting pages under subsite tabs. Please clarify what exactly you are facing , for Left navigation pane "Quick Launch" option must be checked. This option is under Site Settings > Tree View > Enable Quick Launch Warm Regards, Pratik Vyas | SharePoint Consultant | http://sharepointpratik.blogspot.com/

Hi Pratik, Thanks for the reply. Quick Launch is already enabled. Suppose before migration i had the below structure - My site is SITENAME an it has 20 pages SITENAME Page1 page2 Page3 ......... Page20 Now the structure is coming as below only, other page links are not getting displayed. SITENAME Page1 page2 But if i modify some site settings (or make some modification from SPD) then save and refresh the page then only the pages appear below the site name. SITENAME Page1 page2 Page3 ......... Page20 But if i navigate away from the page and come back again the same problem repeats. Thanks, Sanjib

Hi Sanjib, Under Modify Navigation do you get all these option listed under site name ? If not , please click on add link under SITENAME and add one by one all pages. Please let us know after above checking. Warm Regards, Pratik Vyas | SharePoint Consultant | http://sharepointpratik.blogspot.com/

Hi Pratik, Under Modify Navigation all these option are listed under the site name. But i didn't get the option to add, delete or edit the page(Its type is given as PAGE in Summary below).Only HIDE and SHOW option is coming for Pages . Perhaps i have added one normal link and it becomes visible(Its type is given as LINK ). Still not able to display the pages. Thanks in advance, Sanjib sanjib medhi
