Moss 2007 can only support one language per site. If you load the Hindi language pack onto an International English version of SharePoint then you will get the option to pick a language for the site when you create the site. To have a site available in two languages you need to have two sites. If you are using the Publishing features of SharePoint MOSS then you can automate navigation between two or more parallel site hierarchies using the Variations features of MOSS. This automates navigation and prompts you to create duplicate published content to keep things parallel, but it doesn't actually do translation. Translation of content must still be done manually. You can read more about variations here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepointserver/HA101212991033.aspx#1Paul Stork SharePoint Server MVP

> Could you please share me the link where i can download the hindi language pack, Here is the WSS 3.0 SP2 Hindi Language Pack link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=085E5AC8-58F6-4CF9-8012-33B95EE36C0F&displayLang=hi You can find all the different Language Pack versions (WSS 3.0/MOSS 2007 and standard; SP1; SP2) by going to my v3 site (see sig); clicking on MS Articles and then searching with "Language Pack". This gives you the English download page. You then need then to select Hindi in the dropdown and press Confirm. This finally gives you a page *in Hindi* for the Hindi download. Note: you need both WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 Language Packs if you have MOSS 2007. You also need both the original Language Packs and then the SP2 language packs if you want to get to the Language Pack SP2 level. --------------------------------------- Moderator Note: There's a bit more above than is really necessary for this thread but this is a reply to a rather old thread that was left open. I'm now to going to mark again the above answer and lock the thread. The OP didn't come back again after his above post so I presume that *he* found the link I described above. SP 2010 "FAQ" (mainly useful links): http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx WSS3/MOSS FAQ (FAQ and Links) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com/default.aspx Both also have links to extensive book lists and to (free) on-line chapters
