Hi, I would like to know how Sharepoint reads the Config databases and content databases internally?what happens if the farm is disconnected from the farm and what happens to the config and content dbs are there any possibility to restore the farm? Regards, Sudhir

Hi, Please clarify "what happens if the farm is disconnected from the farm" The farm can be restored from config and content DB along with backups of 12 hive and virtual directories.
