Sharepoint database conectivity
Hi All
I have a sharepoint App server and DB server in Vmware environment. During one year it work fine. Once the server shutdown because of the power failure. After restarting the servers the website work fine. After a few days
we got some error intermediately while accessing the website it show “database connection fail”. In the event viewer we got the following event ID 3760,3355,3760,1309,27745. But we only face the issue while accessing the default website. In the
same time we can access Central administration page. So we think that it is not a connectivity error.
Thanks in advance.

I assume that database is out of sync.
you need to find what are the databases are out of sync.
Then you can sync with database GUID.
follow this article might help you.

I wonder whether your databases got out of sync - try the following STSADM to view and delete if necessary.
stsadm -o sync -listolddatabases 1
If you find some databases are out of sync - you can run the following command to remove those entries. (note this does not delete your actual database)
stsadm -o sync -deleteolddatabases 1
See the Technet article
here.
Hope this helps!BlueSky2010

You need to check that first link again. It seems way off-topic to me.
As does the second.
Both are about TCP - are you sure you posted to the right thread, Raj ?

> I have updated my question
Do NOT do this.
People new to the thread are now seeing replies to a post that is no longer there. This at best will confuse them.
At least I presume you are talking about your first post here. If you just mean your later "reply" in the thread, then there is no need for an additional message in the thread saying you have "updated" your question. We can see that.
