Hi ,

i have installed sharepoint 2010 in window server 2012 and when i am creating sharepoint new web application the site application pool in iis  created in framework 4.0 and getting error the below error .

Filename: \\?\C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\37892\web.config 
Line number: 25 
Error: There is a duplicate 'system.web.extensions/scripting/scriptResourceHandler' section defined 

Please guide me how to fix this ..

Hi,

Please check the run time version for web application for SharePoint 2010.

I think its still 2.0 not 4.0 and Required Framework is 3.5

But I am not sure about that this would cause the error
