Sharepoint announcment list prompting for log in
My moss 2007 announcment list is prompting non-signed in users for a log-in when trying to access the announcment list on my forward facing anonymous access site.thanks

The list is on a web part. You can go to the list and see the announcments, but when you go to click one of the announcment links to read the rest of it it prompts you to sign in.anonymous access is enabled on the entire site.I don't know what the lockdown feature is, where can I find that to check to see if it is enabled?

Hi,some questions for you...- List and web part are in the same FQDN?- URL are in Local Intranet or Trusted Site security zone in your IE?- Do you have same logon request when you click one announcement without using webpart?Tnx.Raffa!
