Sharepoint alerts issue
We have recently upgraded to the Spoint 3.0 version and are now experiencing some issues with our alerts. Each user on our domain has two email addresses... the old company name (abc.com) and the new (123.com) All domain users have the new (123.com) set as the primary SMTP address. For some reason some our our users when you look at their User Information in Sharepoint, their email address whows up as the old (abc.com) address. Anyone with these addresses does not receive alert emails...... I have even tried just amending the user information in sharepoint to reflect the correct address and still no alert.... I cant work out why some of these accounts pick up the old smtp email address.... Any ideas..... ????
