Hi all, we are preparing in our IT Dept to replace our last Server running server 2003 R2. The question is how can i migrate our SharePoint Services 2.0 website over to Server 2008 R2 i.e how can this be done and what versions can i use on Server 2008 r2 as I'm told by fellow technicians that 2.0 wont work on 2008 r2

You'll need to upgrade your SharePoint Services from 2.0 to at least Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 if you are moving to Server 2008 r2.  Here is an article on how to upgrade.
