Hi Skorpio, Typically, as in recommended, SharePoint is installed using an deadicated account named either SP_Admin or SP_Setup. Make sure this account is a member of the local administrators group. Make sure that a host file exists on your server. It should be located under c:\windows\system3drivers\etc\ Make sure that your SP_Farm account has run as batch local policy permissions. Hi, Have you changed in the sever name (any OS) or any domain changed (like change in username and password) before you install SharePoint Server 2007? I would suggest that you go to IIS manager and then in the application pool of the SSP "SharePoint Central Administration" you change the identity and service. Even it looks correct. Please try to reassign and apply it. Best regards, David HM
