Sharepoint List Adapter scheduled through Agent Job
I created a package that reads from a Sharepoint List using the apapters on Codeplex. When I try to run the package through SQLAgent I get the following error: Source: Description: The connection type "SPCRED" specified for connection manager "SharePoint Credential" is not recognized as a valid connection manager type. This error is returned when an attempt is made to create a connection manager for an unknown connection type Has anyone else worked through this error?Kim B.

Yes it is. Also from within Management Studio if I kick it off manually. Just not through a scheduled job on the server.Kim B.

when you are running the job in SQL agent as the proxy account does not have the permissions to access share point location, I think that is the reason its failing

We had the same error occur with our first agent-run package using the SharePoint List Adapters. After digging through this and a few other posts, I tried downloading the latest version and installing it. Codeplex shows the current file as having been released 10/2011, but my installed file had a modified date of 4/2011 so I guess there was a newer version. I had to uninstall and reinstall on the SQL Server, but the package ran without error after this. Latest version obtained here: http://sqlsrvintegrationsrv.codeplex.com/releases/view/17652
