Hi All I have a sharepoint list with multiple line items with multiple contributors ... I am trying to create a view where i can uniquely count the number of contributions made by a single user and show the count ... for example the list should look similar to the below format Username Count John Doe 4 Hane Doe 2 Jane Doe 9 Where john , hane and jane have multiple contributions to the list, but i want a rollup of the total to show .. Can this be done..?

Hi Harsha H, You can create a new view for example called Count view and follow the steps below: 1. Click View Create View Standard View 2. Under Sort option, choose first sort by the column: Author If you dont have Author column, Choose other column which has the name of the contributor. 3. Under Group By option, choose first group by the column: Author 4. Under Total option, choose count for the name field of the item 5. Click OK After this view is created, all the items will be grouped by the author name and you can see the total number of the items each contributor created. Hope this helps. Lu Zou
