Sharepoint 3.0 upgrade problem
I'm getting an error in upgrading a Sharepoint 2.0 install to 3.0 to complete a TFS 2010 install. The Sharepoint install is on a single server config that is setup as a Domain controller. The error is after the prescan verification and is as follows:
Created a label, name is FinishForm, text is An exception of type System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException was thrown. Additional exception information: DDL statement is not allowed.
The error is thrown on the pre-existing 2.0 MSSQL Server 2008 database instance setup by the sharepoint 2.0 installer.
Thanks

I would check the SQL Server error logs to see what the SQL Exception was that was thrown.
It may help point you in the right direction...I trust that answers your question...

I un-installed and then reinstalled and the installation and configuration completed without any issues.chuck
