Hi All, I have read similar posts on this topic but hoping someone can help me. I have a fairly new install of Windows Sharepoint 3.0 on a 64bit Windows 2008 R2 Standard Install. I would like to migrate it onto a new 64bit server. Migrate being the main aim here so NOT an upgrade. I have been taking backups of the box via a script which appears to complete without a problem. I am left with around 3gb of data in a folder made up of a number of .bak files. Am I wrong in thinking that I cannot just take my 3.0 backup, head on over to my new 2010 server and restore via the admin panel? Any advice greatly received. Many Thanks
