Hi everyone,

I installed April 2015 CU and run Sharepoint Products configuration wizard. Everything was successful until I try to browse to the site. Boom error, page cannot be displayed. I went to IIS --> application pools and  Security Token Service Application Pool was stopped and I cannot start it. Help needed!

I had a similar issue after installing April CU 2015. Did you try to re-provision STS and check if it is working?

$h = Get-SPServiceHostconfig

$h.Provision()

$services = Get-SPServiceApplication

foreach ($service in $services) { $service.provision(); write-host $service.name}

If it is not working check Identity account running application pool. Try to reset it and check if will help.

Thank you Ultra_cool,

The first suggestion did not work but the second one does. I don't know how password changed or what happent there but after re-typing user account and password (I type in the same credentials) under Identity everything stated to work.
