Hi!

I am not able to add workflow to any of the lists in the entire Portal
 
when I go to List Settings - > Workflow Settings and If I try to add a new Workflow it open the first screen but when I click on next it shows the error

 

ULS Error :

"Getting Error Message for Exception System.Web.HttpCompileException (0x80004005): (0): error CS0016: Could not write to output file 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\64898201\2b3acd88\App_Web_cstwrkflip.aspx.2a428413.s2smgyix.dll' -- 'The directory name is invalid. '   "

After Doing lot of search on net I found the above error comes when the user is not having permissions on the Temp Folder.

So I have given full permissions on Temp Folder to Network Service ,IIS_Iuser and all other sharepoint users. But still error is there.  While giving full control access on the temp folder I was not able to grant rights on some files names given below , as i was getting Access Denied error :-

c:\windows\temp\fwtsqlfile00.sqm

c:\windows\temp\fwtsqlfile01.sqm

c:\windows\temp\fwtsqlfile02.sqm

c:\windows\temp\fwtsqlfile03.sqm

Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for offie Runtime 2010 set..

C:\windows\temp\KBXXXXXXX_XXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXX.html

Apart from the above files I was able to give Full control to the Temp Folder and Sub Folders and files to all the respective users.

I am Also not able to add any WF using SPD . SPD error is :-

Kindly give the solution

Hi

Check if the logged in user has the local administrator permission on the system.aslo you can try logging with administrive account to check if its a issue with the permission
