Hello -

We have a new install of Sharepoint 2013 Full Trial version. We cannot install any subsites; we get the following error:

Could not load type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SPFeatureDependencyErrorBehavior' from assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

To get more informtion on the error,

1. Was the SharePoint installation successful?
2. Did the PSConfig wizard completed successfully with any errors?
3. Are you able to open Central Admin and other web applications successfully?

It could be an unsuccessful installation thats causing the issue.

For a better troubleshooting, I suggest you can do as the followings:

1. You can check the ULS log for more detailed error information to check the cause of this issue.

By default, SharePoint 2013 uls log is located at the path:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

2. I suggest you can rerun the SharePoint configure wizard and IIS reset to try if it works.

3. Create a new site collection in CA and test if the new site collection can add sub site.

You can use ULSView to check ULS log more easily:
