Hi, i really hope somebody will be able to help. I am trying to install Sharepoint 2010 on Windows 7 (standalone) to get a practical exposure to it. During the installation I follow the steps described in one of the MSDN posts (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee554869.aspx) i.e. i install the hotfix, add line in the xml config file, install prerequisites, turn on iis, install sharepoint, install ms sql and then everything crashes and i get the message: Failed to provision the SharePoint Central Administration WebApplication. An exception of type System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException was thrown. <img src="C:\Users\vladr\Documents\Sharepoint failure.png" /> please help since I've been trying to install quite a few times now - SharePointserver (i guess standard) and then enterprise edition and nothing... thank you rybalkin dot vladimir at gmail dot com
