Sharepoint 2010 and 2013 in the same domain

Hi,

We already have a Sharepoint server 2013. We use it only for intranet and for storing documents. We would like to install a Project server but we can't decide that we can install a new Sharepoint server 2010 plus Project server 2010 in them same domain which already has a Sharepoint 2013. Both server will be separate. So we do not want to use them on the same server. We would like to use Project server 2010 because those who want to use it only familiar with this version. I read that if we install a Project server 2010 we have to install Sharepoint 2010 and we can use only max an SQL server 2008r2. We have to use Office 2010 Project client because the 2013 version is not compatible with the old system. We can't use SQLserver 2012. Maybe the server opertaing system is not important, it could be a 2012 one. I hope I was clear.

Maybe we have only one way, we have to use the Sharepoint 2013 and install a Project server 2013?

Thanks!

B.
