Sharepoint 2007 server change
Hi all, I have to move a 2007 server from the server it was built on to our in-house server. The site is built as a test site and therefore all the data is dummy data and does not need to be transferred. I have read a lot about importing the .fwp files and using the web package to re-configure the site, however, they will not cleanly import and whenever the default.asp file is imported a "file not found" error displays on the site. My question is, since I do not need the db, what is the best way to transfer the site from one server to another? Thank you in advance for your help.

There´s a huge difference between moving the server and moving a site. Can you be more specific with what you mean? Have you got administration access to run an STSADM export?Steven Andrews | SharePoint Professional | http://www.twitter.com/backpackerd00d | https://baron72.wordpress.com/
