Sharepoint 2007 search issue
Hi All, We have a MOSS farm which has 3 web applications and for one web application we were not able to see search results. All the settings were same in Search admin. default access account has enough permission since the same account is used to crawl for other two web applications. crawl log says content crawled was only on item on that web application. host name was entered properly in the content source without any error. Any idea on this issue why the only one site was not getting crawled. Thanks R Saravana Kumar

In the site collection of that web application did someone go in and select 'do not include results in search'?Imagine what we could be...if we could just imagine. | Daniel A. Galant | Sr. SharePoint Solutions Architect EPC Group.net

Hi all, We tried to add the www site (internet) for crawling instead of staging site and it seems this is working fine and getting crawled the content. But when we use the staging site this is not getting crawled again. Any help on this. Thanks R Saravana Kumar

Hi all, Atlast we managed to fix the issue by creating a new content source and added all the subsite url's in the new content source. Here, we selected "crawl only the sharepoint sites" instead of "crawl everything under the host name". Then initiated full crawl and everything seems to be crawled and search started returning results in that site. Thanks R Saravana Kumar
