Sharepoint 2007 not working on Virtual drive
Hello all, I have recently install windows7 on my machine. I am having a virtual drive for sharepoint 2007 and i installed Virtual PC 6.0 on my windows7 machine. Now when i start this virtaul machine it's working fine. when i am create application using administrator tool it's allow me to create. When i am creating subsites in this application then also it's allow me to do that. but when i am trying to browse this it's showing me error and i am not able to browse that. eg: http://templab:19876/sites/TrainingIntranet i have enabled few features on my Windows 7 machine like enabled the IIS 6 features and so on. Still no luck ? can some one tell me how can i make it workable ? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and Regards, Nilesh Thakur.

Hi Nilesh, From your description I understand that Windows 7 is your base machine and you have installed VPC 6.0 on it. Installed MOSS on VPC and If you are able to browse the site on virtual machine then please add host entry on base machine (Windows 7) in host file. Hello Pratik, Thanks for help....I have this Virtual Drive , on which SQL and MOSS and other componants are allready installed. Now i wnat to browse this subsites on Virtual drive only, not on my local machine(windows 7). Here i am not able to browse on VM only.
