Hi Andre, SS is a member of 2k3 domain. my test setup having 10 LocalUser accounts, having contribution rights. I want only those 10 LocalUser accounts should show in People Picker.. But it is showing Everyone from AD . -Vissa-Vissa

Hi Vissa, Remove permissions for any AD users from the sitecollection. Provide permissions to the local users that you need to be resolved in the people picker. Assuming you have MOSS 2007 you will first need a Search Center site. Now if you selected the Publishing -> Collaboration Portal site template for your site collection then you had one automatically created. Otherwise you will need to create one using the Enterprise -> Search Center template. Once you have the site created, you will just select Modify Shared Settings on the People Search web part expand the Miscellaneous section and change the Target search results page URL to /searchcenter/Pages/peopleresults.aspx.
