Dear All, We have been running a reporting solution via Sharepoint 2010 for some time. However we are experiencing a problem with the export to excel action for generated reports. All other renderers work correctly. In addition, when logged in on the server, the excel renderer generates a full file which is opened in Excel 2010. However when trying to run the export from any other location across the network, only an 863 byte file is generated. Binary comparison shows this to be the file header only. For some reason the content is not delivered. This functionality had been working correctly up until a week ago. There have been no updates to the main server, the sharepoint server or sharepoint itself. However, we did have our test server which is a linked server patched to SP3. I cannot see myself why this should have any effect on excel rendering or permissions, but it is a possible variable, given that other permissions issues have arisen. Has anyone any idea what might be causing the problem or where to look to fix it, or diagnose the problem? Iain
