Share a new Dashboard View
Two questions if I may, related to dashboard views: 1. A new 4 quadrant view showing the same counter, but on 4 servers has been created. But if i go to a different MP to look at something else, when I return to the Dashboard view, the counters are all for the same server! Does SCOM not keep the setting? 2. How do you share a particular Dashboard View so other users can see exactly the same view? Or does it need to be done manually for each user that requires the view? Thx, John Bradshaw

If you can find a way to target one machine with one counter it will remember of course, but if you say that you want to have that counter only it will show all 4 servers and you have to manually select which one to show where. It will not remember for somebody else either. Only that you specifically targetted at.Bob Cornelissen - BICTT (My Blog about SCOM) - MVP 2012 and Microsoft Community Contributor 2011 Recipient

Thx Bob. Hope u r well. In the 4 quadrant display, Window 1 is targetted at Server 1, Window 2 to server 2 etc. But when i change to look at something else, then return to the view, all 4 views have reverted to whatever server i was looking at last time. It has lost the 1 to 1, 2 to 2 view that I had left it with. Is this what you see also? Thx, John Bradshaw

Hi, Please try creating views for each server and add it to the Dashboard view to see if it works. Thanks. Nicholas Li TechNet Community Support
