Share Point Full Control issue
Hi, Please check web part property , Audience targeting must be enabled on the web part. If its there please check targeted group users.Warm Regards, Pratik Vyas | SharePoint Consultant | http://sharepointpratik.blogspot.com/

Audience targeting is not enabled and there are no target group users. This should be visible to everyone. And also this web part is part of a page layout, which the current page is using, but there are other pages using the same page layout but working fine, so i don't think , it has got some thing to do with the web part property. It is definitely something to do with the permissions. Please suggest any alternatives.

hi, try to approve and publish your page, it may need to be published so other users can see the changes made like added webpart. Mai Omar | Senior Solutions Developer | ITEgyptCorp | Email: maio@ITegyptCorp.com | Blog: http://maiomar.itegyptcorp.com

I am a site collection administrartor on the site. Myself and users with full control are not able to view the items in a customised web part. All other users with previleges less than FULL control like READ, CONTRIBUTE, DESIGN are able to view the items in the web part. If any user with less previleges(say..READ) is given FULL CONTROL, the user can no longer see the items in the web part. Please suggest on resolving this. Thanks in advance.

ok, one last question, does this happens when u add this certain webpart or happens even without any webpart added to this page? if it happens without any webpart on the page, there may be a pic that needs approval or current login user doesn't have permission to see it so it asks for username and password. check this as well if webpart or only certain webpart does : let us know what your webpart is doing or if it is getting data from somewhere else?Mai Omar | Senior Solutions Developer | ITEgyptCorp | Email: maio@ITegyptCorp.com | Blog: http://maiomar.itegyptcorp.com
