Hi, How to copy one custom list from one site to another site in sharepoint 2007.

This is the 2010 forum, not the 2007 forum. Please post threads in the appropriate forum - I'll move it this time. You can copy a list from one site to another by saving the list as a template in the List Settings, and then creating a new list using that template in the other site. Hi, Go to settings of the list & select "Save List as template" , give a name and save the template (say MyList.stp). Here you can also choose to save the content of the list along with the template. Now you can navigate to SiteSettings-> List templates under Galleries where you can find the saved template. Save the template in your local system. Upload the same to the new SharePoint site. Now if you select create from SiteActions you will find the MyList, clciking on which you can create the list you had previously. Thanks, Chanakya
