SharePoint unaccesible during multiple events ID1309 Event Code: 3005

Him

I'm administering a SP2010 farm.
On the WFE application log I  see lots of these Event ID:1309 Event Code: 3005.
I have no idea how to start troubleshooting this.
I've already setup DebugDiag but it doesn't capture anything when this event occurs; even though when it does happen SP is dwown and displays a big Server Application error.

Would you guys have any idea what could cause this and if not how I can start troubleshooting?

Thanks in advance

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for your answer.

We of course have customizations deployed on the farm, as everybody does I suppose.

For the C2WTS, it is currently stopped on all servers in the farm. Is it required to have this service started? We've been running this farm without C2WTS for 2 years now; why do you think it might be required for these errors?

Regarding the blog you've linked, the solution points to an article on how to configure the machinekey, but it seems to be outdated.

Hi,

What operations did you do when this error happened?

Check if your IIS works well.

Do an IISRESET.
