Hi,

Check whether your SharePoint server is configured properly with Outgoing email settings. Check the SMTP services working properly.

If not follow

Hi MEK,

Email and Alerts are services which can be configured and started on Servers as mentioned in above links.

Can you please elaborate what are you trying to do with Emails and alerts in SPD2010?

Hi,

Actually when i pressed an aspx.net web page in sharepoint with using SPD2010 then i lost my e-mails and alerts. I checked them the e-mails and alerts are configured but it doesn't alert anymore, do you guess could it be about these issues?

That is bit strange.

Can you check are the alerts/ emails are off for particular web application? Or is it the case with all other web apps in the same farm?

1. Try creating a new web app.

2. Check whether alerts are enabled on that web app.

3. Create a test Sharepoint site and just simply add any domain user to it and check if that specific users get any email.
