SharePoint Site is Slow
Hi All, I have some doubt. Like, Assume that i'm maintaining 2 Wfe and 2 app server + 1 db server. i don't know why my site is very often gets slow down. i don't accept is this because more user. i have much more space in db too. when ever i restart one of the Wfe . My site is getting up and working fine. Can anoyone provide a valid solution for this, Since, I'm new to this sharepoint technology. i don't find an appropiate solution to this. Note: When i check my event viewer, i get some error like critical stating HTTP throttling. but when i restart the wfe that error is resolved.

Hi JP2K11, From your description, the performance of the SharePoint gets slow down, but it can be fixed by restart the WFE server. It should like the Internet Information Server(IIS) gets slow down in thei case. In my opinion, it might be caused by there have too many cache in the application pool. To fix the issue, please try to recycle the application pool. For more information, please see: Recycle an Application Pool on Demand (IIS 7): http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770764(WS.10).aspx If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
