Hi HemadriMerala, If you are trying to start the 'Windows SharePoint Services Search' service from Central Administration | Operations | Services on Server, the process fails with the following error: "Error File Not Found". Please make sure the search service account is a member of the following groups on the local machine: Administrators, IIS_WPG, WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_RESTRICTED_WPG, and WSS_WPG. Try to use a different service account to start the search service, then check the effect. If the steps above can’t resolve your issue, you can repair your MOSS server from add/remove program, then reboot the server run configuration wizard without disconnecting from the farm, finally start SharePoint Search service.
