I inadvertently altered the content of a SSP. I was using SP Designer and mistakenly “published” the contents of a different site to the site I am really working on – they are two different SSPs. So, for one, I picked up the wrong default.aspx on the site that should not be changed. Of course, the site does now not open – get an error because it is the wrong default.aspx. In addition, several new folders, etc. were added. I looked at the Publish logs and quite a few things changed. Question is, how do I go back. I had hoped there was a reversal function for the change. Does not appear to be that way. Or, what backups would we need to restore? We are unclear which to use. It is a Symantec backup using the SP agent.
