SharePoint Powershell Error

Hi Everyone,

I keep getting the following error each time I open SharePoint Powershell:

Could not load type 'Microsoft.AnalysisServices.SharePoint.Integration.GeminiServiceApplication' from assembly 'Microsoft.AnalysisServices.SharePoint.Integration, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91'.

Could not read any Cmdlet Configuration Entry from :\tC:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\CONFIG\PowerShell\Registration\PowerPivotCmdlet.xml.

Please I need help on this.

Thanks

Hi Liltutchay,

Looks like some of the configuration db doesnt have access with the id you have logged in.

Add the id you are using to the configuration dbs and do a IIS reset.

Rajesh

That guy above you marked his OWN post as the answer and it has the possibility to be incorrect. There is already a Technet article about this here

People shouldn't be able to mark as answer to their own post.

Here is a cut from the site:

Explanation

Power Pivot for SharePoint uses solution packages to deploy its features on a SharePoint server. One of the solutions is not deployed correctly. As a result, this error appears whenever you try to open Power Pivot Gallery or other Power Pivot application pages on a SharePoint site.

User Action

Deploy the solution package.

  1. In Central Administration, in System Settings, click Manage farm solutions.

  2. Click Powerpivotwebapp.

  3. Click Deploy Solution.

  4. Choose the web application for which this error is occurring. If there is more than one web application, redeploy the solution for all of hem.

  5. Click OK.
