I want to give pdf file as read only access in SharePoint Document library so how can i achieve this?without using any third party tools i have one idea that is CSS mask but it is not affecting on this so how can i give permissions for the pdf without changing any settings in Acrobat Reader itself Any Suggestions Regards, Ravikumar.V

Change the permissions for the file, the folder containing the file or the entire library to Read for the target group of users. (Per file permission management is generally not a good idea. Consider put all of the files that need custom permissions in the same folder or library.) Read only in that a user cannot not modify the PDF after it has been downloaded?
