SharePoint Navigation Links Dissappear When Adding New Link
So here's the Scenario:
We run Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. We use the standard navigation pane on the left hand side of our home page. Recently when we've needed to make changes to the navigation pane we've had to repopulate all the links in the pane everytime... Before
we were able to update a single link and leave all others intact.
We update our Navigation pane by clicking Site Actions->Site Settings->Look and Feel->Navigation. Within this page we used to see a list of all our links and link groups... We don't see them anymore.
If anyone has any clues as to what might have happened to break this it would be extremely helpful and save us a lot of time...
Thanks!
Gabe

Hi Gabe,
Is there a custom web part on your problematic site?
If so, please check if lines of code sets the "IncludePages" property of the PortalSiteMapProvider to "Never" which will cause links missing from navigation pain.
If you have no custom web parts, please try iisreset or web application recycling then check again.
Hope it helps.
Thanks & Regards.
