I have a report called WhatsMyIDs web part in a page by its self the URL is: http://myserver/_layouts/ReportServer/RSViewerPage.aspx?rv:RelativeReportUrl=Reports/WhatsMyIDs.rdl&rp:id_ref=234324342234342 I want to use this report on the same page as another web part which contains a drop-down list and pass the id_ref as a parameter. This would allow parent child type control. However, the webpart report doesn't get the parameter when it's mounted in a page this way. It's obviously not viable to ask the users to copy parameters from the other web part into the reporting services report to get the report to show, so how would I do this?
