SharePoint Foundation 2010 Site Problem,

Hi Guys,

I have site called calendar,

The Url is like this http://myserver/calendar.

Under this site, I created a list item Calendar. which goes like this also:

http://myserver/calendar/Lists/SCHOOL/calendar.aspx

What I want basically when users type the main site I want them to be re-directing to the actual list instead of seeing the site contents so the default view for this site should be pointing straight to the calendar.

Basically if they typing http://myserver/calendar it should actually go to this : http://myserver/calendar/Lists/SCHOOL/calendar.aspx

How can we achieve this?

Hello!

Open your site in SharePoint Designer. Go to "All files" -> Lists -> Your list ("Calendar") -> Click by right mouse button on calendar.aspx -> Set as Home Page

Hi,

Edit the home page of the site, and add a calendar web part.

or if this is not acceptable add a content editor and use javascript redirect

I think it is not a good way to add JavaScript with redirect to page. Because you will be unable to change it in future.
