SharePoint Email Notification for Calendar (Daily Events)

I need to create an email notification to go out to an Outlook distribution list that displays all events in a SharePoint calendar that occur on a specific day.  This is meant to be a daily email notification of all events for the day that would go out every morning.

Out of the box the alerts only allow you to send notifications when items are added, changed, or deleted.  I simply want the criteria to be based on the day of the event = today.

Does anyone know how to set this up?
