SharePoint Document Libraries not receiving email
I am having an issue with my document libraries receiving incoming emails. Talking to our Exchange guy, the emails make it through Exchange and appear to be delivered. I can see the email going into the drop folder in the mailroot. It leaves the folder, but is never delivered to the document library. Does anyone know what my next step should be? Let me know if you need more info. I'm at a loss.

What do you have selected for the Email Security Policy? Accept e-mail messages based on document library permissions . I do have access to the document library, full control, and I'm a site administrator.

Mo Hi hollyquinn, I had the same problem. The culprit turned out to be Forefront Protection for Exchange. If you have Backscatter Filters enabled, it adds a tag to the senders X-Mailer address, which means the sender is not recognised as a valid user. Add your Sharepoint domain to the Backscatter filters and problem solved See here: http://forums.msexchange.org/m_1800517971/tm.htm Moderator Note: NEVER propose your own posts. The "Propose as Answer" function is there so that people propose the good answers of other people. It is NOT there for self-proposing.
