Hi All, I am getting following error message while Checkin / Checkout document in SharePoint Document Library " This document was checked out to your local drafts folder, but there is no application configured to open the document from SharePoint. The document can only be opened for reading. " Any idea to solve this issue ?

Dear Ashok Kumar jayabalan, Appreciate your response.. Just for your information Links which you have mentioned in your post contains only workarounds but not the permanent solution. Workaround stated that " To work around this behavior, wait 10 minutes before you click Edit in <var>ProgramName</var> to open the document again " I cannot rely on this as it is not feasible in real working environment to wait for 10 minutes. Also this will be really annoying... Any further clues how to get rid of this error ?
