SharePoint Delete Default Groups
Hi All,
Is it a good idea to clean up (delete) the unused SharePoint default groups such as "Quick Depoy Users", "Hierarchy Managers", "Viewers", "Readers" etc...
Can somebody please throw some light on this?

So it won't break anything, right? That's what my main concern is.
Because at the moment if I go to that particular group, firstly there are no users in that group and secondly when I view group permissions it has access to no sites or subsites whatsoever.
Can you advice on, if it is still safe to delete these default groups?

If you delete "Style Resource Readers" people might get trouble accessing your masterpage gallery!!
Also note that "Check Permissions" won't show the masterpage gallery - check on your own.
There is a reason why "authenticated users" is added to that group...
