I have upgraded my SharePoint Server from 14.0.7116.5000(feb,2014) to Latest Patch i.e. 14.0.7151.5001(June,2015).I installed the patch, but when I ran configuration Wizard . It failed.

Its showing following error:

Please suggest. Its failing at step 9 of configuration wizard.

Was the server rebooted after installing the patch?

Clear the config cache and try to run the configuration wizard again.

You can try the following command on the server where it is failing:

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures

HI,Ensure that the patch is installed successfully and reboot the server once the installation is done.failing in step 9 will be happened some time,I would recommend to run the PSConfig wizard again.If it still fails,run the command as below.

PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force
