SharePoint Central Admin shows Web Application unavailable now shows HTTP 403
Hello Everyone, After a clean installtion of Sharepoint i was able to access the internal empty site and the central admin database with breeze. However starting this week our sharepoint site(not under production) went down displaying an error message "Server Application Unavailable" after going through a million website i did the following (event veiwer keeps showing the ASP.NET machine account does not have access to the Global assembly cache) 1. ASP.NET state service under Services was stopped . Manually started the service 2. Provided Full permission to ASP Machine Account to the Temp ASP.NET files located in ( c:\windows\Microsoft.Net\framework\version\temporary ASP.NET files) 3. Could not find ASP.NET machine account for Temp folder (C:\windows\temp) and could not add the account manually 4. Unable to add ASP.Net account to application folder root 5. Executed Global Assembly cache command since ASP.Net is unable to access this (cacls %windir%\assembly /e /t /p domina\username:R) 6. Restarted IIS manually 7. Registered ASP.net with aspnet_regiis command since multiple versions are running on the server 8. Reinstalled .net framework 2.0 and 3.0 with service packs. 9. Stopped and started the default website in IIS manually 10. executed the commands to unregister(regsvr32–u shfusion.dll) or reregister(regsvr32 shfusion.dll) shfusion.dll as listed by MS 11. C:\windows\assembly’s property does not show asp.net machine account. After doing all this i no longer get the error but now its giving me a http 403. Being very new to the server environment i am not really sure how to proceed. It would be great if you can bring in some suggestions. Thanks

can you try running the configuration wizard again by logging into the sharepoint server with the service account used to configure sharepoint earlier?
