Hi All,

I am facing issue with library alerts in SP 2010

In a site collection, I configured alerts on SharePoint library but not received any email.

In the same site collection, I configured alerts on SharePoint list and received  the email

I tried configuring on different other libraries but nothing fired. 

In the same site collection, alerts are triggering for lists and not triggering for libraries. This says there is no problem with email configuration also. 

I checked the below property it is Property exists and value is Yes. 

Stsadm.exe -o getproperty -url http://SharePoint-web-App-URL -pn alerts-enabled
This should return <Property Exist="Yes" Value="yes" />

I set the immediate alerts and running the timer but nothing fired

can anyone help what I am missing here.

Hi jonnalagadda,

From your description, SharePoint Alerts just not working with libraries.

Make sure that the user account has at least Read permissions on the object.

Navigate the alerts, choose all changes and anything changes.

If the issue still exists, try to delete and re-create alerts in libraries.
