SharePoint_AdminContent not found - SQL login failed

Hey Guys,

I've a weird error message on my SP2010 environment.
I've recently scaled up the farm and added a new server to act as crawler.
On that new server only I'm getting the following error message :

A critical incident has occurred where a database was not found on server MyNewServer.domain.com. Event ID: 3760 Event Description: SQL Database 'SharePoint_AdminContent_0708d5a6-6b8d-41a3-b8e8-cf120ede1111' on SQL Server instance 'SHAREPOINT' not found.
Additional error information from SQL Server is included below. Cannot open database "SharePoint_AdminContent_0708d5a6-6b8d-41a3-b8e8-cf120ede1111" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'DOMAIN\MyNewServer$'.

I was just wondering why would thi account need access to the SharePoint admin Content DB.
It's not running the CA role anyway.

Any idea?

Hi Fluidetom,

Which operations did you do when this error happened? And where did you find this error?

When you installed SharePoint in the crawler, which user did you use?

Please open ULS log file to find more information about this issue. The path of the log file is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS.

In addition, please try to add the user into SQL Server Management Studio Logins, then check if this error still exists.
