SharePoint 2013 workflow - how to store the approval link of a task into a list column?

When a list item triggers a task workflow, is there any way to store the approval link (ie. Task URL) of that task into a list column of the current list item?

How to get the current task id before the task is assigned?

Sorry, Murugesa.

I cannot get what you mean... could you help to elaborate a bit more detail?

I cannot find any palace that allow me to do the workflow variable assignment inside this "Workflow 2013 - Assign a task"

Hi,

Can you please trace the task url through Fiddler that could be combination of task id,list item id and url of the Task.

In 2010, its WkTasksIp.aspx page, I can check and confirm it once I am opening the SP2013 VM.

You have to build URL string through formula window by concatenating the above parameters.

Hi,

Back to the original issue... how to get the Task ID, the one stored in the "Workflow Tasks" list...

we can open the approval page by

http://XXX/sites/MySite/WorkflowTasks/EditForm.aspx?ID=565&ContentTypeId=0x0108003365C4474CAE8C42BCE396314E88E51F

But the problem is: how to get the ID and the ContentTypeId....

Hi,

Can you check the build the string for variable [%Site Url%] / WorkflowTasks/Editform.aspx?ID=[%CurrentItem:ID%]

you can also get the "content type Id" as string as shown in this picture.

Hi

use the Content Type instead of content type id.

I am able to see this value "0x01080100C9C9515DE4E24001905074F980F9316000463C597612DB5D4D93D1A8CDE6DDF189003E9B59DBD056D54BB3E66E6F1817C69A

upon logging activities.
